The Rasārṇava is a discussion of poetics that, as S. K. De showed in 1929, shows many affinities with Bhoja’s Sarasvatīkaṇṭhābharaṇa. For this reason, its author should probably not be identified with the 9th/10th c. Prakāśavarṣa, the teacher of Vallabhadeva.
