Śivārcanacandrikā

Work
ID: 96346
Full name: Śivārcanacandrikā
Language: Sanskrit

The Śivārcanacandrikā is a paddhati that appears to provide an exoteric outline of Śaiva Siddhānta daily observances, ācāra, and pūjā rituals. The prose of the text is copied (or perhaps plagiarized) directly from the Kriyāsāra, a Pañcārādhya Vīraśaiva Vedānta work outlining a Śaktiviśiṣṭādvaita or Śivādvaita interpretation of the Brahmasūtras. Despite Appayya's interest in Śivādvaita, he fails to copy any portions of the Kriyāsāra that discuss Śivādvaita Vedānta.
