Permānaḍi’, ‘Nōṇaṁba‧kulāntaka’ ‘Satyavākya’ Mārasiṁha was a Ganga chieftain. He was the father-in-law of the last Rāṣṭrakūṭa ruler Indra IV. After the fall of his Rāṣṭrakūṭa overlords, Mārasiṁha gave up his life in the presence of his teacher Ajitasena at Baṁkāpura by the sallekhana ritual.

Cāvuṇḍarāya was a minister and general of Mārasiṁha and his son Rācamalla.
