MS Trippunittura Uzhutra Warrier 4

Manuscript
ID: 108240
Works contained:
Located in: Thrippunithura
Shelfmark: 4
More info:

NCC lists two MSS of this work in Thrippunitura, the first in the Thrippunitura handlist part. V, no. 4, belonging to Āyurvedavidvān T. Kunchu Varier, and the second in the collection of Uzhuttara Variyar, no. 4. It is unclear to me (DW, 2020), whether these are two MSS or a mistaken reference to the same MS mentioned in two different handlists.

Uzhuttara Variyar was a leading vaidya and manuscript collector in Trippunittura in the first half of the 20th century.

This important manuscript is lost, as of searches in the early 2000s. It is probably the archetype of Thiruvanantapuram ORLI T. 850 and all other modern copies.
