Country paper, thin, rough and cream-coloured; Devanāgarī characters; handwriting beautiful, clear and uniform; borders ruled on all four sides with double black lines; the mediate space being filled with yellow pigment and bordered on both sides by red pigment, the enclosed space for writing measuring 4 ½ in. by 3 in.; red ink used for beginning, colophon and punctuation marks.
