Nṛsiṃhadeva

Evidence for the teacher in the Bhūmikā to the 1933 edition of the TMK: śrīmannigamāntaguruvaracaraṇabhaktyekadhanasya doḍḍayācāryāparanāmadheyasya anekaprabandha-nirmātuḥ rāmānujācāryasya vidyāvaṃśajaḥ nṛsiṃhadevaḥ. (Srinivasachar and Narasimhachar 1933, Bhūmikā, p. iii)

If this is correct, and if the Doḍḍācārya is the same Potter describes as having lived around 1590, Nṛsiṃhadeva must be moved at least one century before. Potter's later date (1740) might be due to Potter's conflating two different Nṛsiṃhadevas, both Viśiṣṭādvaita Vedāntins.
