The Vakroktipañcāśikā is a literary hymn (stotra-kāvya) of 50 verses in the 19 syllable-per-line śārdūlavikrīḍita metre by Rājānaka Ratnākara. Couched as a witty exchange between Śiva and Pārvatī, it illustrates poetic misreading (vakrokti). This erudite poem has a commentary (ṭīkā) by the famous 11th century scholiast Vallabhadeva.
