‘Iṟivabeḍaṅga’ Satyāśraya (r.c. 997 – 1008 CE) was the son of the Chalukya king ‘Āhavamalla’ Taila(pa) II. He is the patron of Ranna’s campū text Sāhasa‧bhīma‧vijayam (Gadāyuddham). The first verse of each āśvāsa (canto) of the Gadāyuddham is signed with Satyāśraya’s cognomen Sāhasabhīma.
