Dr. Arpan Guha is a Sanskrit scholar who has worked in Manuscriptology, Paleography and Epigraphy. He completed his doctoral thesis on socio-lingual aspects of Sanskrit’s third gender and on different sexualities from Jadavpur University, West Bengal. He is co-author of Prakrita Vaibhava (in Bangla), a translation and study of select Prakrit inscriptions. Presently, he is Research Associate, SAMHiTA: South Asian Manuscript Histories and Textual Archive.
