Ma’ayan Nidbach is a PhD student at the department of Asian Studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Her research is in the fields of Indian philosophy, linguistics and theology. It deals with the unique place of language in Kashmir Shaivism as influenced by the philosophy of Bhartṛhari. In addition, she has been studying the tradition of Kūṭiyāṭṭam, the Sansktit theatre of Kerala, as part of a project of the Hebrew University and the University of Tubingen.
