Country paper; Devanāgarī characters; handwriting medium, legible. Borders ruled with double black lines. Initial folios as well as final folios discoloured; most of them defaced, with margins and writing partially destroyed. Folios missing 1-2, 78; 132 and 134 repeated. Red chalk smeared over important expressions. Pṛṣṭhamātrās used side by side with the modern signs for diphthongs (cf. fol. 28b). Appears to be very old.
